Brief Planning of My Creative Artefact

Synopsis Mind Map

Synopsis Brief Overview:
-Short film to represent stereotypes, ideologies and typical cinematic Spectatorship switched. This will be through the feminist film theory and the movement of the female Spectatorship.
-Claire Johnston's theory is that "cinema reflects society and vice versa".
-Follow through with this quote and create a short film of the general everyday life of 3 individuals in today's society.
-As the feminist film theory states that a patriarchy society is performed in cinema, I am going to challenge this theory.
-Intertextuality from all my primary texts.
-Portray general society through the conventions of female Spectatorship and challenge stereotype of men and women through the lives of three men, switching the theory of a patriarchy society of men to a feminist society controlled by women.
-One man may be a businessmen, and goes through the situations of objectification, dehumanisation and the female gaze within his work place.
-Another man may be a single parent, trying to find a job in the other mans workplace.
-Another man that works in the work place, goes to bar at the end of the day and is hassled by a intimidating woman.
-Concludes to the three individuals characters sharing common ground through the oppressed society of women.
-Gender roles are switched.

Script Ideas

Some but not too much dialogue. Intend for the message to be expressed more so through cinematography as that is the main basis of my textual analysis.
Stage Directions must be very detailed to express female Spectatorship.
